Scope of benefits
- Covers the legal liability regarding the ownership and operation of insured quadrocopters, microcopters, hexacopters and model aircraft with cameras for private and commercial purposes including filming and photography flights on private and public grounds
- Valid within EU/EEA territory, UK and Switzerland
- Austrian law applies
Important requirements
The policyholder is responsible for ensuring that all official requirements and permits are obtained in advance and complied with at all times. Care must also be taken that sufficient protection is ensured with regard to the recording of groups of people.
Not insured
The insurance does not cover photographs / films of / during:
- Police operations
- Military operations
- Recordings of persons in closed rooms (halls)
- Aircraft flying automatically without remote control
Any claims for compensation due to infringement of third-party privacy rights are not included in the scope of the insurance. No public liability insurance for the business operated is included.
